I edited this photo of the horse in photoshop to enhance its color and vibrance. I wanted the texture of the horses hair to stand out, so I highlighted those features in photoshop. I added a light blue border.
With this photo of the parrot, I enhanced the color by making it more vibrant. I also decreased the brightness to make the texture of the parrot's face more distinct. I added a deep maroon border.
